FOUNTAIN OF PEACE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Fountain of Peace College of Health Sciences ltd was founded by a determined individual with vast experience in curative and preventive/ public health management skills. The founder is Ms. Grace Mazala whose individual initiative and vision emanated into what is now known as Fountain of Peace College of Health Sciences (FPC). FPC was established and incorporated in April, 2015 as a company limited by guarantee with the Patents and registration agency(PACRA). The college is supported by a strong management team comprising people with relevant technical expertise that will steer the company to higher heights.

We, at FPC, believe that a good learning environment is equally as important as the learning that takes place; we strive to provide excellent training facilities and learning opportunities to satisfy the growing need of our students in diversity of learner needs. Our students and client’s satisfaction is evidence for our achievement.

Based on our experienced staff in health programs, FPC has a competitive edge in the following areas;

  • Our professional approach to training programs is designed to cater for local and international students in order to achieve their requirement based on their training needs and expectations.
  • Our qualified and experienced Nurse Tutors and staff aspire to deliver high quality training services which has resulted in the college recording distinctions in all graduating students pass rate.
  • Our modern lecture theatre, Library, computer lab, skills laboratory and equipment used in executing our training programs enables us produce quality health providers that will contribute meaningfully in providing quality health services.

Established with a task of health training needs, Fountain of Peace College, henceforth, takes responsibility of training needs and ensures that we execute our best effort in meeting student’s requirements. With the fast developing health sector, our experienced technical staff is able to support and assist students and clients in making their dreams a reality.

As the technology world evolves, our approach to training methods are also upgraded to meet the technological standards by investments in Information, communication and technological methods of knowledge and skills transfer to the learners. As an institution, we have a profound interest in student’s success because our existence depends on student’s satisfaction and success.

Mission Statement

The college shall provide professional training in nursing, Public health and clinical medicine to meet the growing demand for health professionals with a unique quality of training to meet and satisfy the needs of the community.

VISION

To empower students with appropriate knowledge/skills in nursing, Public health and clinical medicine in order to render excellent health care services to individuals, families and communities

GOAL

To train a nurse who will be self-directed, analytical, knowledgeable, skillful and responsive to changing health needs, emerging diseases and contribute towards improving the quality of care being provided to “individuals, families and communities in Zambia”.

GOVERNANCE

The college is governed by a board of directors whose mandate is to made overall policy decisions and provide oversight. The board members as individuals help staff to cope with the scope of work and the technical complexities of some of the work related aspects. The board also create committees to review issues and make recommendations to the board for collective decision making:
